My stepchildren want to come and live with me. They are 16 and 17 and both girls. I stayed home and raised them for 7 years and have been a part of their lives since they were 6 and 7. Their father and I are of course no longer together and he has decided to go on a control trip and now they are not allowed to talk to or see me, any of their friends or any of my family. Legally me and their father are still married, I just can't seem to get him to sign papers even though he is living with another woman, yes I have moved on also. My oldest daughter had to sneak to call me the other day and said that they both want me to have full custody. I love my kids, I have raised them for 1 years and will do whatever I have to do. I just don't know where to start or how to start. I am assuming because of their ages I will have a good chance of winning. Please help!!

Legally you don't have much grounds,

Is the father neglecting the children, is the father abusive to the kids ?

There is little chance to get the kids away from the father.unless there is a reason he can not have them.
