There is no conversion between Candlepower and Watts.

Candlepower, is the output of the lamp. Actually, I believe that is a term that is no longer in use. I sure it was replaced by a similar term only I don't remember the new term.

Watts, is a measurement of Power. It is obtained by multiplying the "Input" values for Voltage and Amperage. So, for example, a 120v/20 amp circuit yields 2400 Watts.

Candlepower is now lumens. As Donf said, no relationship.
