So Odd! Please Help me figure this out!
I am 23 yrs old. I had a.miscarriage at 16. Had a healthy pregnancy a17 - had my daughter at 18. Almost 2 years later got pregnant on an IUD and miscarried.
It's been exactly 1 year since my last miscarriage.

My periods are very regular. They come between thr 25-27 of every month and last 5 days.
Last month my period came normal and then 1 week later I had another one.

So now here I am a month later with a late period and negative pregnancy test.

I feel nauseous and dizzy when I stand up, also been extremely moody!

    What's going on?

I have no science to back this up (other than the women who live together whose cycles synchronize), but I am a believer from stories I know of in all sorts of 'clocks' in our cycles, including what you are going through a year after a miscarriage. A doctor may tell you that you are just having an irregular month with more hormonal swings. Maybe so.

That's first. Second is the possibility that you are pregnant and it's too soon for a positive test. (I've been seeing a lot of ads on TV for a new very early test however.)
Third is something unrelated, and it's time to have your IUD checked, and a GYN checkup in general. But 'unrelated' could also mean that you just have some flu type bug and that's making you dizzy as well as delaying your period.

So, in summary, you can't find out online.

I had my IUD removed after the last miscarriage they performed a D&C because I guess I was about 8 weeks along and would not stop bleeding.
I'm just very confused right now because my periods have been regular for the past 11 months. And now exactly a year later I am late?
Do you know if weightloss affects menstrual cycles?
I have lost about 40lbs [have about 60 more to go ;) ]
Thank you so much for your response I really appreciate it!
    :)

Oh yes, of course the weight loss could have an effect! So can exercise!
    I'm envious. Congratulations.
