    Breaking lease
I am currently renting an apartment in Florida. My lease ends in the beginning of July, but I want to break my lease due to infestation of bed-bugs. The apartment complex paid to have the place exterminated; in which I moved out for three weeks (still paying full amount rent, for the month) the pest control did all they could, but I have noticed there are still bed-bugs in my apartment. I am wanting to break my lease and move elsewhere because it is costing me too much money; for instance, I had to throw my $1000 bed out and now I am having to throw my couch out . I would simply like to leave this apartment and get my security deposit back. Is there a law or any regulation on how I can go about breaking my lease and getting my security deposit back?

Have you asked the management ? First step before you get legal, just ask, they may say OK.

If not you will have to review the terms of the lease and then notify them why you are moving under what terms of the lease.

Now of course they can refuse to do it, and you will have to sue them for it in court. So be prepared for court if you have to.
Perhaps talking the lease to an attorney for reviw would be worth the money
