My boyfriend and I have been dating for 7 years ( since high school) We were each others firsts. I thought we were soul mates but the last few years I haven't really wanted anything much to do with him physically. I would only have sex with him because he wanted to and I would feel guilty for saying no to him but now I never want to. I still love him but I don't feel like I'm in love with him. He is such a good guy and I don't want to break his heart. I want things to be better but I'm not sure if they ever will be.

As we grow older and mature our choices in people change but also our needs change to. Where you met so young it sounds as though you have grown out of this relationship women change and mature quicker than men and where once he stimulated your mind now he's lacking. The fact that you are sleeping with him and in your heart not really wanting to is wrong its not just wrong for him but its bad for you to by the sounds of it that's the only close thing you do anymore but even that doesn't feel right to you. You deserve to be fulfilled aswel in this relationship it shouldn't be you feeling like your stuck. Sometimes putting something we love away hurts but the freedom that will give you is priceless being in a relationship your not feeling anymore will just turn in to resentment and the love you feel at this present time even that will fade just don't let it come to that be honest with him its for both of you because he doesn't deserve a half hearted girlfriend either.
