    What this latin phrase means
Can someone please describe to me what this latin phrase means non est ad astra mollis e terris via" I know it translates to there is no easy way from the earth to the stars" but if you could give me a more detailed explanation of what that means I would appreciate it.

A Google search using the phrase as keywords will help you find various sites that explain it.

Non est ad astra mollis e terris via
    Nutritur vento vento restinguitur ignis
    Dona nobis pacem

"There is no easy way from the earth to the stars
Fire is fed by the wind and extinguished by the wind
    Grant us peace"

Thank you, I appreciate this and yes I did use Google before I came here. Like I said, I know what it literally translates to, I just was wondering if someone could give me a more detailed explanation of what it means metaphorically. Telling me to Google it isn't a very helpful answer.
