My son was seen on a pit bike crossing a road bringing the bike back from garage police came and my son told them he did it and pleaded guilty now 4 monthswe get a summons to go to court but police said because he owned up to it that would be it what will happen as never been to any court before.

First off... he wasn't ASKED to attend court... he was actually ORDERED to... big difference between the two. The first thing you NEED to and SHOULD do is hire a lawyer... well before the court date. They can tell you everything else you are going to need to know. It might make a big difference on the outcome.

What was the exact charge anyway? As in how was it worded. And what State did this happen in.
