I live in Texas I am renting a room from someone. I have no rental agreements. I've been here for about 6 months. My roommate one day gets up and moves out. Well come to find out he wasn't paying the rent nor was the apartment leased to him. The apartment was leased to someone that left. They are evicting the person the lease is in. I am not mentioned or listed on the eviction preceedings. Can they just throw me out without any kind of warning?

You are a trespasser unless you can prove you have been living there, but even then, it's going to be pretty much a losing battle, and you should be prepared with all your belongings packed and ready to go. You could even be kicked out (again, as a trespasser) before the eviction is final, based on the fact that they don't even know about the person you rented from, and you don't even know the person on the lease.

I would conact the landlord, but unless you can rent the whole place yourself, you will be tossed when the leasee is evicted.
