Should I live with my wife?
Some months ago, my wife go out from house at night for very little dispute with me. Some policemen saw her and come to me and beat me very badly with sticks, they took me to police station and where 10 policemen beat me very badly like third degree and insulted me very badly in front of my wife.

Many times, since marriage, my wife go out of house or try to cut wrist for very minor or unreasonable things. I don't know whether she go to policemen that day or they met her on the way.

I filed for divorce. Now she say sorry to me and ask me to live together. Should I accept her? How can I live with her, after being beaten and insulted in front of her? Should I first beat her like they had beaten me, then accept her? Or any advice so I can live with dignity. Should I accept her or not? We have a 3 year old son.

    What the hell?

I'm guessing you live in a country where beating your wife is acceptable?

So she tries to kill herself, leaves the house to do it, and because she left the house, and you did nothing, the police beat you up? What are you leaving out?

Leave. Don't stay. You want a divorce, and frankly, I think that's the best thing for both of you. The only innocent person in all of this is the child.

Tal, normally I'd agree, but based on what the OP wrote, I think there's much more to this story than what he's telling us. The fact that his wife tries to kill herself, that's not good. Is it his fault? Might not be, but than why did the police get involved.

That aside, the fact that he asked if he should stay, beat his wife for retribution, and live with her, tells me that he's not the best one to take this child.

At this point neither parent seems to be fit. That's why the only one I'm concerned about is this poor innocent 3 year old that got the short straw where parents are concerned.
