    Pregnancy test confussion?
Ok when I was 16 years old I was diagnosed by a doctor saying I had PCOS or Ovarian cyst which ever you prefer to call it, anyway she told me most girls grew out of it and I did last year they started busting and I started getting my periods regular instead of twice a year I was getting every month for 7 days. Ok last month Sept. 9th I started like normal but it was lighter and it only lasted 4 days very light the whole time well this month I am 6 days late and I took a test today and got a negative and everyone keeps saying to take another one in a week but if I was wouldn't I be far enough along to show up positive?? Please help me I am only twenty and really need some answers!

    Alty
Most women don't get a positive until they're well into their second month of pregnancy. Your friends are right. Wait another week or two, and test again. If that test is negative, wait until your next period is due. If you miss it test again (make sure that you're using first morning urine when you test) or see a doctor for a more accurate blood test.

False negatives with a urine test are very common. Sometimes it's too early to test, and there's not enough of the hormone present to show up on a urine test, or human error, which is just as common.
