    Is it possible for my 11 year old to be getting wisdom teeth? It hurts when she chews and in pain in the jaw so much pain that she is in tears

    Wisdom teeth at early stage is difficult to remove as the jaw size hasn't reached its full size.

    This is not exactly true. Wisdom teeth appear usually at 15 or so and unless causing discomfort do not have to be removed.

    I suggest a trip to the dentist just to make sure there is no decay or infection.

    If the tooth is compromised, then dentist will determine treatment.
