He says he wants me to still be there and he wants to be free because I smother him but he says I'm not going to loose him and he's in love with me but the nagging and the texts and calls is too much . What do I do to get him back?

Just give him some space. If you are going to call him make sure it's not a long call. Maybe 20-25 minutes. Then tell him you have to go clean or something like that. If you are going to text him don't do it all day unless you space it out a bit. Like maybe a few texts for around 25-30minutes and then wait for a few hours and then text him again. It will give him some space but you will still get to talk to him. You can still tell him good morning and good night but fallow this advice and I'm sure you'll get results. I wish you luck
