I had unprotected sex a week before starting the depo provera shot and 3 days later had another shot.

2 weeks after getting the shot I had a brownish discharge. A few days later it had progressed to light, bright coloured bleeding then heavy bleeding, blood clots, abdominal cramps and back pains.

This continued for about 2 weeks, and it all ended with the brownish discharge on Sunday the 30th September 2012. I haven't had a pregnancy test. I'm afraid to take it. I didn't think it would be necessary as I did have a depo shot.

To me I feels as though I'm pregnant. I did feel very tired,and sluggish before I started bleeding. And I've noticed a dark line down from my belly button to just above my pelvic area.

PLEASE HELP I'm absolutely terrified and confused.

Today 19/10 I stumbled on an forum re: miscarriages and the symptoms mentioned were very similar.

I also read that depo can prolong one period.

Right now I don't know what to think, it feels as though my body has a mind of its own, and I can seem to figure out what's happened / still happening to my body.
