I have an older model weedeater riding mower. I have taken it to the shop, have a new battery. I drove it once and it ran out of gas and have been unable to restart it since. When I turn the key all it does it click. Any ideas?

Could be a number of things. Bad solenoid, bad connection(s) at battery or battery discharged because of failed rectifier. Coulb be a jammed starter pinion, as well.
