I was wondering I could get someone's advice I just had my fuel pump replace in jan 07 I went oput to my car on tues and it wouldn't staret so assumed it was gas line freeze so I waited and it still won't start does anyone know if it could be my fuel pressure regulator ?

Is it fuel injected? If so do you hear it come on when you turn the key to the on position?

No I don't hear it come on I had someone check it out and he thought maybe it was my regulator and I told him I didn't hear my fuel pump come on

You didn't mention what model and engine you have.

When you turn the ignition key to ON (not start), you should hear the fuel pump in the gas tank run for several seconds, while it pressurizes the fuel rail. If you don't hear the fuel pump run, don't automatically replace it. First, check all under-dash and under-hood fuses with a test light or multimeter:

Second, check for codes. Third, check for spark. If you don't have spark, check the Ignition Control Module and the coil. Make sure your ACDelco platinum plugs don't have more than 50,000 miles on them. Fourth, listen for/check the main relay controlling power to the fuel pump. Fifth, check the ECU.

Remember, 90% of "crank but won't start" situations are electrical-related, not fuel. As a rule, Chevys are extremely reliable products.
