I had a vivid dream of my deceased husband. He was chasing me through an old barn trying to kill me. Wrong had an awesome marriage and loved each other deeply. I woke up sweating, crying and truly frightened. Confused as to what was happening I called a friend, late so no answer. Anyone know why this type of dream recurs, been 3 times now.

Sometimes this happens because we mix some guilt in with our good memories. You may feel that you could have done more, said more. That usually happens soon after the loss. But you may now be feeling guilty that the pain is lessening, such as you had a good time talking to some nice man the other day. Then it's natural to translate that into a dream about him getting 'revenge' on you for being happy.
I'd suggest having a 'talk' with your deceased husband about allowing you to be happy and see what he 'says' (no, not literally, what you think he would say, in your own mind). But actually talk to him out loud. If the dreams continue, consider a few visits to a therapist to talk it out.
