My fiance's ex-wife filed charges on me stating that I came between them when they were trying to reconcile. I met my fiancé in 2009. She said I did this back in 2003. I did not even know him then. It was a different person at that time that he walked out on her for and then they re-conciled later that year. Her problem is that she is re-marrying and he is military so she trying to see if she can get any type of monies from him. We are getting married in 2013.

Is there anyway I can counterclaim her charges on me by filing defamation? She has put my name out in the streets and it was not even me.

They are already divorced and she thinks she can sue for alientation? Does she have a lawyer? I ask because I can't imagine an attorney going along with such a case.
