    Ritetemp gas wall heaters
    I have a ritetemp wall mounted gas heater with blower option.is the fan suppose to run all the time even after the heat turns off,if not what can be wrong?

    Some units have a 2 position switch, on and auto. Does yours have that? If not, the fan thermostat is probably sticking. You may be able to clean the contacts with emery paper and hopefully it will work. If not you may need a new thermostat.

    Thank you,yes I believe mine is a two switch.you can flip it to the middle and that's off ,flip it to the right I believe that one is the on position and then flip it to the left sometimes it comes on right then and sometimes it takes a few seconds to start blowing but then it doesn't want to turn off. Where are the contacts on the blower?

    Don't think it's the motor. Is the t'stat on the wall or on the heater?

    Its on the heater,i.m assuming it has a there stat or it wouldn't have a 3 way flip switch.
