Unexplained burning scratches appearing out of nowhere, mirror and possible demons?
Hi, I actually have a really weird situation where I acquired this old dresser mirror from my grandma last year and there was nothing apparent as far as paranormal until I started getting really strange mood swings and then one night I started getting these burning scratches all over my body. My husband was making sure it wasn't my fingernails or his, and even checked my couch, bed, and clothes. As he was examining me he saw three scratches show up out of no where. We have no pets and I am extremely hypersensitive. I had a gut feeling it was something to do with the mirror. I did some research on the burning scratches (like cat scratches) and of course I made myself paranoid because people have said it's a demon, and if I say his name or even think about him it gives him power. So I sent the mirror back to my grandmothers house. Two weeks ago I got the mirror back. I didn't think anything about it at all. I actually forgot about what had happened last year. Last week I started getting a sickening feeling like something unnatural was around me. We have a vintage Ouija board from 1972 we bought at a rummage sale. I thought it might be that, so we threw it out. (Still not thinking anything about the mirror, it's been sitting in my living room because its too heavy to hang up and its also turned backwards and forgot about) I still had a weird gut feeling something was a little off, tonight the scratches started to appear out of no where. My husband checked me again and he started seeing them pop up everywhere! I have them now on my left buttocks and down my left leg then he watched them pop up around my neck and on my left shoulder. We started thinking back to when this had happened before and he looked right at the mirror and said "Is that the same mirror?" I froze... It even took me a minute to think about if it was the same mirror or not, and we looked at old pictures on Facebook, and it was. The mirror is now outside on my porch, and the scratches have now stopped. I don't know if this really ties in and I'm a little frightened and confused. I would like to know if anyone has any ideas on what I'm dealing with and what would be the best disposal of this so-called "haunted mirror"? Thanks for taking your time to read my story. Christine
