I have 3 Edisto Hampton Bay ceiling fans in my home they work great,now one of them only the light turns on. The fan is on a extension rod and runs by a remote and wall switches the light works by all. Could the wiring for the fan have come loose?

Yes, but that is proably not what happened.

Does the fan have a pull chain for the fan? If so, does it allow you to use the fan?

Make sure the DIP switches on the controller are the same as the DIP switches on the fan.

Make sure the batteries in the controller are new.
