I use to texturise for the last 3 years but would like to switch to relaxer
My growth and texturise hair have minor difference showing that my texturisers were underprocessed. Also my hair is soft temporarily for a few weeks and goes back to being coarse and unmanageable after like nothing was done to it. It doesn't completely revert but seems to not taken much effect from the texturiser. I wanted to relax my hair now after a few skin tests to see whether the relaxer will birn or not. Hoping to use ORS relaxer. I would like to know if I relax the new growth only and when a few minutes is left if I smooth it to the ends in order to make the textures more similar and then wash etc, if that would be OK, my hair is strong, not fragile or breaking excessively. Please also recommend how long I should leave it on the underprocessed hair. I wanted a second opinion, my stylist has told me 10 minutes maximum on the underprocessed hair, but I would need to follow with a deep conditioner or reconstructor such as aphogee and would need to condition it well a few weeks before. Let me know what you think.

Go to a professional that's what your paying them for their knowledge. If your not a hair stylist I would recommend you let a license stylist do it.
