I am being promoted to a manager at work and it asks if I was ever convicted of a crime. In 2003 I was arrested for possession, then in 2011 my case was refused. How should I answer the question

Conviction comes from the courts as a judgement.
A conviction means you were charged and it went to trial and you lost...
Absent a court rulling in a trial declaring you guilty... there was no conviction.
Have you been to court over this matter?
No court, therefore NO conviction or charge.
What might show on the background check is the arrest.
That's what I thought, they know about it work, just wanted to get facts rite
Pretty much its been over nine years ago
