Little girl apparently dies leaping into dad's arms to greet him. Years after she's buried, he's forced to dig her up and finds her unchanged since burial. Takes her body to Rome to have her declared a saint. There, he's pursued by the "cemetery police", insisting he must bury her. There's a happy ending.
