    Outdoor wall socket
The connection of two extension cords fell in the pool when using a tool, and now the outdoor wall outlet no longer works. What can I do? Thanks.

Find the circuit breaker and reset it.

Hi - When this happened I checked the breakers, they all looked normal. I shut off & on 5 of them in the area I thought covered the patio. Clocks & tvs in that area shut off. I just spent 20 min resetting the DTV DVR & receiver. I'm pretty sure I covered the area but do you think I need to reset all the rest?

Won't hurt... sometimes these trip without it being obviously tripped if you just look at them.

I know I couldn't tell you what breaker every outlet in my house is on... and I've lived in it for 15 years.

Look for Ground Fault receptacles, will have test and reset buttons.
