Are you the mother or father, custodial or non custodial parent?

Who does the child live with in MI?

However, if all parties are now in MI then you should have no problem transferring the case.

Yes, does either party stilll live in Georgia? If any one of the party, custodial or non custodial party still lives in Georgia, normally it can not be changed, or at least not changed without permission of both parties.

If both parties live outside of GA now, it can be changed when there is a need for a future motion or other change.
Just because custodical parent and child lives out of state, does not mean it gets changed, it is still in force and active there.
