How do I get over perfect?
Hi so I dated my boyfriend for just over two months and I know that isn't a very long time but I relly fell for him hard and then just one day he broke up with me... I am finally over him but I just can't get over the fact that there is never going to be anyone as perect for me... I mean he played football, had good grades, he was sweet and funny, and most of all my brother and my parents really liked him... I just don't see anyone being as perfect as him... I just need help in getting over that I guess...

    How old are you?
Just like he came long so will someone else. What is "perfect" for you now, when you are older "perfect" will be different.

So you are not really over him.

No one is perfect, you have shaded vision for someone who left you.
First perfect would not have left,

Next you sound more middle school, since football and grades mean little in the real adult world.

Most of the high school foot ball team from my high school, are still at their home town, working at min wage jobs, or perhaps a few have state jobs. It is the geek and the nerd, that you will not give the time of day who is the real perfect one, He will get the 200,000 dollar a year engineering job, or be the one who is traveling the world,

High school or middle school values are limited in their idea of what is perfect.

There's plenty of other people out there in the world who are "perfect" in your opinion. Just don't stress out about it there's a reason why he broke up with you. There's someone out there who is better for you. You sound pretty young so don't worry you have so many years ahead of you to find someone else. Just hangout with friends and try to avoid thinking about him.
