Probation violation:6 months proof of sobriety
I have a warrant from over ten years ago for probation violation. It says I was supposed to go to an AA class and show 6 months of sobriety. I have since stopped drinking and have moved from the area. I have worked with local courts and probation offices filming traing modules and working with the city. The local probation officer has signed vouching that I have been sober and am a valued member of society. With these warrants there are fees that I will have to pay and now that I'm established financially I am able to do so, but with that said, if I spend any time in jail I'm sure I will lose my teaching position which will screw up my 4 year long no late on child support payment history. I didn't even know about the warrants until 2 weeks ago. I want to take care of this but I also don't know enough law to go about it the best way... any suggestions?

Most likely there will be a few weeks jail, pending a hearing, best choice is to hire an attorney to go to the PO, take all of your info, ask for them just to arrange a hearing with the judge for you to turn yourself in.
If not, the warrant itself, should be enough to make you lose teaching job, and hurt most employment
