I have fitted a new tap in my kitchen, it is a mixer tap needing 0.5 bar in pressure, I can only get a dribble of cold water and no hot water, I have good pressure to the dish washer , washing machine and fridge freezer, can anyone advise what can be wrong.

0.5 bar= 7.2518869 pound per square inches. My dog peddles more then that, Sounds like you disturbed some mineral build up in the pipe walls and it's now clogging the inlet ports of your cartridge.
Shut the water off to the tap and open the tap up. Remove the cartridge and check and clear the inlet ports. Now place a pan over the tap and turn the water back on to flush out the supplies. Reassemble and test. At the same time you might also check the aerator screens, Good luck, Tom
