How Long Does an Executor of a Will Have to Settle an Estate in Oklahoma
How Long Does an Executor of a Will Have to Settle an Estate in the state of Oklahoma? My mother died and named my younger brother as the executor to divide her estate equally amongst four children. It has been 10 months and he hasn’t even started. There are no open savings or checking accounts, and no credit cards to settle, no property (land) or vehicles to be divided. She only has the furnishings of her house and personal items to be divided.

She didn't own the house? Who did? Where is the stuff now?

Has he applied to the probate court to probate the will and be appointed personal representative?
