I am currently engaged I live with my fiancée n we have a son together. I have a daughter which he wants to adopt she has her dads last name but he didn't sign her birth certificate and soon after she was born he got deported. Her dad has never been there for her I made the mistake of putting his last name even when he didn't want to sign boyfriend .

And after that happens, and he files an adoption petition with the court, someone (your attorney probably) is going to need to serve notice of the petition upon the biological father.
