    How many hrs over 40 in a week can an employer work a salaried employee.also can I be on salary and still get overtime pay?

    A salaried employee may work however many hours are required by his employer - no limit.

    As for whether you get OT - typically no, not for salaried employees. However there's nothing that prevents a boss from deciding to give you more pay or a bonus if he so chooses.

    A true salary person does not make over time.

    There is no real limit to the number of hours, normally when I was on salary I worked at least 60 hours a week, and often worked more.

    A salary person forgets any idea of a 40 hour week
