I' a first year college student and I recently met a girl who is also a first year and is from the same country from me (we're international students).

She lives in the same dorm building as me and I have known her for about 3 weeks now. We've become close friends and text each other like crazy. I'm really into her but I don't know what to do because she's in a long distance relationship with her high school boyfriend whom she's been with for a year and half. He's studying at a different college and she went to visit him this weekend.

I'm kind of certain she likes me but I don't really know what to do. If I have to walk away, how do I do that?

They say most long distance relationships break up. So should I stay on the hook, painful as it is in hope for such an occurrence?
