Hi, so I had unprotected sex 3 weeks ago and I was ovulating and have just had this gut feeling I am pregnant. I got what I think was my period today, but usually mine is bright red and today it was very very dark brown, it was lighter than usual but thicker too. Could this be implantation bleeding or is this my period?

Yes it could be either,

Is it time for your period ? How do you know you were ovulating, ( if the answer is online or phone app, then no you don't really know you were)

If you actually come to the date of period and miss it, wait a week and then do a pregnancy test

That's what I've just worked out from online so I guess I don't really know. And this was one day before my period was due.
