I am 13 and have a year 8 social (you call it a social in NZ- You might call it a dance or disco, it's for 13 year old's and not formal at all) coming up soon and I bought this dress,VANYA DRESS, for it:

It is much less formal looking in real life and comes up to my knees.

I was thinking of wearing it with these shoes, Black monochrome converse:

Would it look okay? The shoes look nice with other dresses that I wear, so I think it would be okay, but wanted someone else's opinion too.

I suppose it depends on what look you are going for. Personally I think it looks sloppy.

Are you trying to look classy or goth?

If you are trying to look classy, and with the holiday spirit, add a red patent show with red accents. Or a silver shoe with silver accents.
