I'm attending a community college, and I have all of my books, materials, etc.. I live at home and NOT on campus. On Friday, I received my College Refund. It was deposited to this Higher One debit card, (issued by the school). Now I heard this money is given back, because the loan people overpayed for the classes, so they give you (me) the check for the difference. Now, I'm wondering: can I use this money for personal purposes (food, clothes, movies, etc.. ) or is it just school purposes?
