Dwwin is the doctor watson error reporting program. Most likely, something is causing an error at shutdown and dwwin is trying to report it. As you may know, if you try to start an application while you are shutting your machine down, windows will tell you that it can't be started because the machine is shutting down. This sounds like what is happening to you.

A quick look at the logs may tell you something. (Right click on My Computer, select Manage, then Event Viewer) Note the time of day it happens, then it will be easier to find it in the logs. Feel free to post the log entries back here if you don't understand what they mean.

Also, I have seen this same error many times with people who have desktop weather programs installed (WeatherBug, etc). These seem like a really good idea, but they are generally little instances of spyware that send your browsing habits back to a logging server. They are usually anonymous, and don't link anything with you specifically, but still spying on you nonetheless. If you have something like this, I would suggest uninstalling it and see if the problem goes away.
