How to price Post Construction cleanup projects?
    Hello Everyone,

I have an opportunity to bid on a post construction cleanup job that will need to be started on in a couple days.

    Details:

    34,000 sqft
    Retail new store opening.
    2 floors.
1st floor is main floor, about 90% of the sqft.
2nd floor consists of vt and 3 small offices with carpet.
1st floor is 85% carpet. Vct in the 2 bathrooms, break room.
Concrete in the warehouse, back area (6-8,000sqft). Will have a 1coat finish.

    There will be 2 cleans.
    1st post construction initial clean
2nd will be the final retouch clean day before opening.

The clients is looking for basic standard clean. Does want strip and wax in the break room, about 250sqft.

High dusting of ceiling lights. Wipe downs of all fixtures and countertops, bathrooms spic and span, vacuuming throughout. Mopping in all hard surface areas. Walls and baseboards. 1 stairway.

Only section that I did not get specifics on was the windows.

This is my first shot to impress the GC, he has another 40,000 sqft projects being worked on in the next 6-12 months. So I definitely want give a competitive price to win this job and be his go to team for all other jobs.

    Time is of the essence.

One thing I did want to know in addition to this so I can make note. When we get these opportunities from the GC's , they are also looking for prices in which they can add a little markup on too, am I correct?

Is that something we have to take into consideration?

Thank you everyone for all your help and advice.
