Hi,
I have PCOs and Hypothyroidism hence I had irregular periods.I have been taking medications for the past 6( 3 months Crimson and 3 months Ovulation tablets) months, during that time my periods was regular. Now, this month I did not take any tablets.. and my periods is late by 1 week. When tested it showed negative. What shall I do? Confused much whether I am pregnant or its just my irregular periods again.. Pl help.

Well, if you got regular periods while you were taking medication, then stop medication and now your period is irregular, it's quite possible that it's simply a missed period. Wait another week and take a test with your first urination of the day.

This is very dangerous advice! Please do not stop any medication without on order from your doctor. Stopping the medication, particularly the thyroid medicine could cause some very serious problems.

How is my guessing that her stopping her meds is the reason her periods are irregular? I'm not telling her to stop her meds, I'm telling her what I think is causing the late period.
