My boyfriend is facing a parole violation. So, he might be heading to prison, He asked me if I would marry him in a jail, I told him I don't want to if I have to deal with his debt. And I think if we did that, I would have to deal with his debt. Can someone help me please!!

Only do something because YOU want to sweetie! I know you love him, my man is facing time too, but ask yourself is that what you realllly want? To marry him in prison??

Well I do love him a lot but if I marry him any debt he owes do I get that debt if we get married

In Iowa a spouse is not liable for the debts of the other.

But you should not marry him at this time, you already have doubts so wait till he gets out and be sure you still want to then.
