    Humming Pipes
There's a loud humming noise and it vibrates kind of too.

It started this morning when I was cleaning our upstatirs bathroom. It does stop when you turn on the water in the basement or the wash machine runs. I t has also stopped when toilets are flushed until some one turn on the sink faucets than it starts again.

    Help !

It may be a faucet rubber washer chattering inside the valve when you turn on the water. Replacing the washer should fix the problem.

Pull the toilet lid and check the water level. If it's next to the top of the overflow tube lower the tank level to 1/2" below the top of the pipe. Good luck, tom
