How do I make my hair grow faster?
Is there really a way to make your hair grow faster? I have to be careful what I take, like medicine. I am on medicine for post partum depression. So if there is a pill that can make your hair grow faster , I need to make sure it doesn't interact with my medicine. Or how about something you put in your hair?

There is no "medicine" or pill to make your hair grow faster. 6 in. per year is the average.

Massaging the scalp supposedly stimulates the folicles to grow hair faster. This is scientifically supported, but I don't know how effective it is. Might be an unnoticable difference.

    I follow these tips religiously:

Eliminate or cut back on smoking, caffeine and carbonated sodas which weaken the body and block maximum hair growing potential.
Eat a healthy diet. Avoid foods that are high in sugar or fat.
Treat your hair like a piece of fine old lace. Treat it carefully avoiding any unnecessary brushing, combing or handling.
Avoid use of hot water, hot blow dryers or other hair care tools that may stress the hair.
Have a weekly scalp massage to provide stimulation to the hair follicles.
Do a series of ongoing hot oil treatments to protect the hair's shaft.
Have regular trims to eliminate split ends and allow the hair to look and feel healthier.
Get plenty of rest and sleep to allow your body to grow hair.

I also take supplements such as Biotin and MSM.

Hii. Like people have said there is no pill that makes hair grow. I wish there was!
Just stick to a healthy diet.
You could take some vitimin pills I have been for the past few months and my hair does look noticeably healthy, don't know about growth though... Boots skin, hair and nails is really good.
Also protein condtioners help with dryness and split ends which will make hair healthy and healthy hair grows.
Lastly go for a trim at the hairdressers every 6-8 weeks to get rid of annoying split ends =]
