    Indiana driving without insurance minor
Our insurance lapsed and hubby didn't tell me. Daughter (minor) had fender bender we don't think was her fault. Can I take the legal hit for her, or is she in trouble for driving without insurance? We live in Indiana.

She's in trouble... but you might be able to reinstate the insurance if the lapse wasn't more than a few days or maybe weeks. But that is all dependent on your insurance company. Doesn't hurt to ask. But if we are talking months... they won't do it.

    Was she ticketed?

If she got a ticket, it is very likely she will lose her license at court. It is fraud for you to claim to be the person. If there were no police and if she did not get a ticket, it is easy, you just write them a check for the damages and be done with it.
