Hello!

I want to fix my leaky faucet, I can't stand hearing the water drip anymore!

Now, the thing is I can't unscrew the faucet handle. From what I can tell of what I've read today I have a compression faucet. Now, the problem is that when I take the cap off the faucet handle there isn't a screw I can unscrew to remove the handle. I looked around and can't seem to find another screw... and I can't seem to find some info on how to remove it. I tried looking underneath the counter and I could maybe unscrew the faucet handle from underneath but that's
Just a guess and hard work to actually unscrew it (don't have the tools).

Any help?

I'm a little confused. There are handles that have a Allen Head Set Screw under the handle and there are knobs that have a insert( cap) that pops off to reveal a screw. I'm not sure of what you have. You use the term "handle" but describe a knob. What's the brand name of your faucet? Back to you, Tom

Sorry, I'm new to all this (fixing things myself like this leaky faucet :P).

By handle I guess I mean knob. I have a faucet that looks somewhat like the faucet on this page Google Image Result for http://www.remodelingreconkitchenplans.com/images/Img36.jpg. When I pop off the insert I actually don't find anything, no screws.

How do I find the brand name of my faucet? I tried looking for it but I can't seem to find any indications...

Back home, I looked at it again and found the name Nova on it... I still can't find anything to remove the knob. I almost feel like I need to loosen something from underneath the counter so that I can remove the knob.

Most faucet knobs have a insert on top (see image) that you can pop off to find a screw underneath. If the kbob still won't come loose after removing the screw the make a faucet puller,(see image) that gets it off. Good luck. Tom
