Hi

I recently worked in singapore and have been paying my credit card debt and loans on time. Due to my own mistake, I have a brush with the law and was not able to continue work in singapore anymore. I have four banks in which I owe money to them due to credit debt and loans amounting to SGD55,000. Now that I could not get in to singapore due to my mistake in law, they have been chasing my debt and have been issuing letters and making calls to my family staying there. I have no means to pay it off as I am unemployed and have no assets at all. Please advise, I would like to know, when will the calls stops and letters stop and what will happen to me after this? I just can't live with the fact that my family is being harassed constantly due to my own fault and mistake. I want to make amends but I am broke and stressed out.
