My water had a odor and I learned I need to replace the anode rod, but I can t find it. Its normally on top with a big bolt, but not on this model?

My water had a odor and I learned I need to replace the anode rod, but I can t find it. Its normally on top with a big bolt, but not on this model?
Not familiar with that exact model. However some water heaters have the anode rod on either the hot or cold side port of the heater which requires pulling the nipple on the top of the tank. Usually located on the hot side. Also, many times the anode rod is under a plastic cover on the top side of the tank so the nut is not readily visible. Either way, there is an anode rod there somewhere.
