    Ceiling fan problems solutions
    Hey,
I have installed a futura ceiling fan with light. When I turn on the light switch the fan starts running automatically. Then when I go to turn the speed selector it trips the C/B and leaves a visible burn mark on the LA terminal.I can't fault the wiring to the diagram that come with the fan. I have my incoming supply BP'd with another active running to the speed selector switch (terminal marked A) then out of the terminal marked F goes up to the LIVE terminal. Then I have an active heading to the light switch which comes back and goes to the LA on the fan. The neutrals are in the N terminal and the Earths obviously in the E terminal. There are no visible shorts in the wiring that I can see and I am stumped for ideas?

    Confused :S
