Need to evict roommate in MA
I have lived with my boyfriend for several years in an apartment in MA. We are no longer together and I want him to move out but he is refusing. His name is not on the lease - only mine is. Every single rent payment has been made by me from my checking account every month for all of these years. I also have paid every utility from my checking account. How do I get him out if he is refusing to leave?

By the eviction process... because YOUR name was on the lease... you are technically his landlord and he is subletting from you.

You have him served in writing.. Mail it... so you can prove he signed for it... give him 30 days to vacate.. if he doesn't leave you go to court and have the eviction enforced... where the Sheriffs come and physically put him and his stuff at the curb. Then you pay your landlord to change the locks for you so he can't move it back in.
