    Adding a dvd recorder
We bought a dvd recorder and are looking for easy (ha ha) instructions to connect to TV with the vcr, dish satellite with the rf modulator. We have a dvd player, but the dvd rec will replace it. If anyone can help I would appreciate it!

    Thanks

    Hi Deerdr,
It should be pretty straightforward. The device order should be (from wall to tv) satellite dish receiver, vcr, dvd recorder, rf modulator. Cable from wall goes into "In from Antenna" on receiver. After that, assuming you are using all coaxial cable, just attach them "Out to TV" from the previous (current) device, to "In from Antenna" on the subsequent device. If making any connections anywhere using RCA or composite cables, go from "Video Out" or "Audio Out" on previous device to "Video In" or "Audio In" on the subsequent. RCA jacks are color coded, yellow is video, red and white are audio. Composite (RGB) are the red, green and blue.
Let me know if you have any questions.
