    Computer Silence
I did something by mistake on my PC and my sound has gone off. The speakers are indicating they are on but if I go into volume and adding back features when I come to audio it says there is no audio available. Strange? Can anyone tell me how I can get it back or where I have to go on my PC to do this as I'm lost. I have tried everything I can think of. Thanks.

You probably need to reload the drivers for your audio card. You should be able to find instructions to do so on your Computer mfg's web site.

Have you looked in "control panel" to see if there is anything listed under Audio ?

It says there is nothing under audio. Think I have wiped it by mistake although I thought anything audio would be automatically on there and could not be erased?? Maybe not.

Go to control panel and try selecting "check for new hardware" and see if it brings up your audio card. Or go to the website of the computer and download the drivers for your audio and install them. After you reboot if its working you will have sound.
