Brown Discharge, 2 1/2 Weeks Late?
Hello, I missed my period about two and a half weeks ago. I should have got it on September 12th but it never came. The last period I had was August 15th. I stopped using my birth control pills in July. I have had my periods regularly since other than this month. And today, October 1st when I went to the bathroom I wiped and there was brown discharge. I have had normal white discharge and have never had brown before so I'm just wondering what could be happening. I have read things from infections to "implantation spotting". There isn't any itching or odor so I don't think it is an infection. If anyone has experiences simpler to this I'd love to know what came out of it. And any medical thoughts are greatly appreciated.

You could have skipped a period and are having ovulation bleeding, you could be pregnant, your cycle can be off from going off the pill.

    Thanks so much for replying.
I think since I have had my period I have yet to skip one completely, it has been a few days off but never totally skipped. And I've never had Ovulation bleeding before so I wouldn't know. And even since I've been off the pill, my periods have stayed regular. I have taken a few pregnancy tests all negative. But as I look at other posts, women are saying that they didn't get a positive until months after being pregnant.

'And even since I've been off the pill, my periods have stayed regular.'

How is that possible? You went off the pill in July. You had one period in August. You didn't in Sept. Your body is still adjusting. Mid-cycle bleeding after a skipped period is actually a pretty good guess, if you aren't pregnant.

Sorry I meant to say it has been the same other than this month. So how would I know if it is mid-cycle bleeding or not? Just wait until when my next period is suppose to start?
